Is an Apprenticeship in Utilities for Me?

Do you love to learn new things and want the opportunity to innovate in your career? Are you interested in working in a field that impacts most everyone? As Utahns, we depend on a constant flow of energy and water to sustain our businesses and homes. As an apprentice in the utilities industry, your work will benefit many people as you contribute to a growing and changing field.

Many utility companies are looking to replace a retiring workforce of baby boomers, opening the door for a new generation of workers to fill the workforce gap. Apprenticeships allow new employees to work side by side with experienced workers to learn the skills they need to accelerate their careers. Upon completion, you will receive industry-recognized credentials and a nationally recognized certification from the U.S. Department of Labor.
